Our ‘wee’ Scottish Tour for girls, ages 13-17, is unique in that the Ayrshire cow and Scottish Highland cattle, featured at the farm, are also highlighted on this trip. If your roots are Scottish, or not, consider this 12-day adventure a huge step in personal growth. Remember this is August, so, Glasgow, its history and traditions, and Edinburgh and its festivals and ceremonies are visited. Inverness, sometimes called the “Capital of the Highlands”, is home while we canoe on a famous loch and conduct a search for Nessie, everyone’s favorite legendary monster. The Mull of Kintyre Music Festival in Campbelltown is where bagpipes and bands unite for a ‘ceilidh’ (pronounced KAY lee) not soon forgotten. Along the way studies come alive as we discover Mary Queen of Scots, Robert Burns, William Wallace and J.K. Rowlings. Please contact us soon. All bookings must be finalized by May.
